Background Information
A Police Information Check is required prior to any volunteer assignment. In the event of an existing Criminal Record or a positive Local Indices check (PRIS), acceptance as a volunteer will be at the discretion of the Program Manager. Police Information Checks are free for Lillooet residents and can be obtained at the Lillooet RCMP station. For residents for the surrounding communities can be obtained at the Stl’atl’imx Tribal Police station.
