St’at’imcets Language Workshop 2024

Description

The community asked for more St’at’imcets language sessions so here they are! All are welcome at these workshops, including kids and families. Light refreshments will be provided to participants, as well as printed and online resources developed by Kwimtsxn John.

EVERY WEDNESDAY FOR 6 WEEKS
February 21, 28, March 6, 12, 20, 27 at 5:30PM

• Interactive Workshop: Lessons and Games about St’at’imcets Language and History
• Conversations about Language relating to Lifestyle
• Understanding pronunciation of local Indigenous Community names and proper spelling
• The Story of keeping Language Hidden
