Join local instructor, Kelly Booth
Formerly with the drumming ensemble Siwade.
An introduction to the rhythms of Northern Guinea, original home of the Djembe. Learn some basic Djembe and how they fit with the three traditional Dunun drums. Bring your own Djembe or any other hand drum. A few Djembes will be provided for people who don’t have drums.
This doesn’t require registration, so come on by the HUB on Tuesday evening and learn more – and we may plan another workshop if there is interest.
