Farm Fresh Dinner at the Miyazaki House Oct 2022

Remember this incredible event? It was a highlight of the month. We reached capacity a week before the event. The food was raved about and the meal was created with local produce supplied by One Love Farm. The local chefs Cara Clark and team cooked up the feast in the Miyazaki kitchen which was served by volunteers, dessert was made and sold by Hella Delicious where Renee created delicious and beautiful healthy treats with locally grown fruit and vegetables. Drinks and fresh fruit were donated by Mischa Chandler, Toby Mueller and Geoff Playfair. The musicians were local talent Kale Tivy and Kyle Vaughan who serenaded the diners. This event, without a doubt, will be repeated for the next years crops. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event happen, with special attention to Lillooet Agriculture and Food Society for their contribution.

Kyle Vaughan is a newer musician in town and has kindly provided us with a short bio. He is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. His lyrics are dynamic; some are autobiographical, some are stories and they all happen to find a way to beeline directly into your soul. Vaughan is originally from small-town Ontario and resides in Lillooet, BC. He has been playing music in some capacity for the majority of his young life. After a stint in the Ottawa hardcore band, At Arms, Kyle moved out west and became the driving force behind Vancouver’s Year of the Wolf. He has since found his way to quirky evocative fold rock. The thoughtful musical arrangements fuse with clever lyrics to make something truly unique among the west coast music scene.
