A Taste of Lillooet & St’át’imc Learning Day

Everybody is invited to come and celebrate St̓át̓imc & Lillooet culture, eat fresh healthy food, learn St̓át̓imcets, hear stories and learn about local history and land title, plus take an immersive tour of the Xwísten pithouses and fishing rocks.
Food will be focused on locally grown and harvested with a ‘Lillooet Grown’ theme, and Xwisten will provide a traditional meal.

1. S7ístken (Pithouse) Site Tour: The archaeology site tour includes a short walk of the ancient archeological village, home to over 90 cultural depressions.
3. Fishing Rock (optional): The fish rock tour includes a walking tour along the Xwísten (Bridge River) traditional fishing grounds.
